Medicare Advantage plans are an alternative way for people on Medicare to get the benefits of Original Medicare Part A and B, as well as possibly other benefits that may be available in certain plans.
If you are still struggling to pay for your healthcare costs, it might be time for you to look at your plan options and search for Medicare Advantage plans in 2023.
When you first are eligible for Medicare, you have a few different options you can go with. One is to remain with Medicare Part A and B (Original Medicare), with nothing else. This leaves several “gaps”, or expenses that you would be required to pay if you need health coverage.
Another option is to remain with Original Medicare and add a Medigap plan, which helps pay for some of the gaps.
The third option is to enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan. Medicare Advantage plans in 2023 provide coverage that Medicare Part A and B offer, but may also include additional benefits such as dental, vision, hearing aids, and gym memberships.
